MEDIOCRE

I spent some time with a team last week, and one word kept surfacing across everything we unpacked.

“Mediocre”

Now is really NOT the time to be this.

You can’t lead a team to success if you’re:

  • ordinary
  • average
  • uninspired
  • amateur
  • so-so
  • unexciting
  • or the collective of all of these…

Being Mediocre.

In practical terms, the difference between being mediocre and excellence is often a matter of effort.

Or put another way…

“If being mediocre becomes an acceptable norm in the team, then excellence ceases to exist.”
I, for one, have always refused to settle for any mediocre output…and I don’t expect the teams around me to either.

And you?
Your team?

It’s time to make the changes and raise the bar.
