THE SECOND ARROW

Ever heard of the Second Arrow?

In short…

The first arrow is life’s inevitable challenges.

The second arrow?

That’s self-inflicted…the regrets, the “what-ifs,” and the dwelling. What if we stopped aiming it at ourselves and embraced the beauty of imperfect journeys instead?

But here’s the good news…You don’t need a time machine to start over.

You can have your life over…start today by not carrying your regrets like old baggage and choosing to let them go.

Start here to let go of regrets and move forward with purpose:
  • Reframe those regrets…instead of “I wish I had,” try “I’m glad I learned.” Mistakes are teachers, not life sentences.
  • Focus forward, and stop looking in the rear-view mirror. Spend your energy creating what’s next, not replaying what’s past.
  • Remember to practice forgiveness, starting with yourself for being human. You did the best you could with what you knew at the time.

Sometimes you don’t need to dream big. Starting small also works. Change doesn’t need grand gestures and besides, small steps create big shifts over time.

Life isn’t perfect, but it’s precious. The question isn’t “What would I change if I had my life over?” It’s “What will I change now that I can start fresh?”

Start today!
