PEOPLE DON’T FAKE DEPRESSION… THEY FAKE BEING OKAY.

“People don’t fake depression… they fake being okay.”

Remember that.

So often we think of depression as something obvious, something that shows up in clear, visible signs.

But the reality is, that folk who struggle with it often become experts at hiding it.

They smile, they go to work, and they fulfill their obligations all the while they’re quietly fighting a battle no one sees.

Check yourselves next time when you are with your friends, family, partner, or colleagues. Sometimes, the people who seem the strongest are the ones who need the help and support the most.

They just don’t know how to ask.
