QUESTIONS

I grew up being taught to be inquisitive and I am sure my folks (and teachers) at times regretted that they had set me loose.

“Questions, questions and more questions….when will he ever stop asking questions?”

As time moved on, I soon learnt that there’s a difference between being clever by what I answered and being wise by what I asked, and that leading a team is not about giving the right answers, but asking the right questions.

Taking some guidance from one of my childhood heroes –

“A wise man can learn from a foolish question, more than a fool can learn from a wise answer.”

I don’t always get it right, but I continue to keep on asking to keep on learning.

What questions are you asking today?
