DON’T TALK UNLESS YOU CAN IMPROVE THE SILENCE

This is something as a leader I continue to refine, learn, and apply.

Do you find that some meetings and conversations can so quickly lack meaningful insight or not be of value to those in the room? I do.

What works for me…

Holding back from engaging affords me the space for the moment when I do speak, it comes across as insightful, positive, and intentional.

Words should contribute positively rather than filling silence for its own sake, and breaking it should be justified by the importance or usefulness of what is being said.

It makes me different. The only. Try it.
